For those of you who don't know..... Brett and I have decided to adopt. A baby. Hopefully soon. We turned in the initial application about a month ago, and this Thursday we have our first meeting with the social worker. Yeah! It's like turning over a new leaf. We're excited again. Even though it might be a long tunnel, at least there is a light at the end of it!
This is how excited we are.....
We went into this baby store and Brett had to try out all the chairs and see how it would feel to hold a baby in it. This was his favorite. I'm sure the excitement of rocking a baby in the middle of the night will last approximately 20 minutes when it finally arrives. But he will be a great dad.

I believe what Brett is doing is "yubbin' dis baby, holdin' dis baby.." Remember when Kyle used to practice with the little onesie and say those wierd words??... :) I'm looking forward to yubbin your baby :)
Ok so I totally got all lumpy reading this post. You and Brett are going to be amazing parents and I can't wait to love on your little one. I really have a good feeling about it all. Love you guys!

Yaaay! I'm so excited for you! What a wonderful time in life. I'll be keeping you in my prayers in hopes that it will happen soon. What a wonderful picture. You two are going to be the best parents. What a lucky baby to have parents with such amazing senses of humor.
