I know it's been ages. Don't disown me yet... just lower your expectations!

We've really been enjoying our summer. We're out on the boat every chance we get. And you'll notice J has gotten a little bigger since my last post. He's sitting up, rolling all over the place, talking (and yelling), and he's on the verge of crawling and cutting a tooth.

Update

I can't believe Jaron is almost 6 months old!! Time has really flown! Some fun facts about Jaron; he's really ticklish. He loves it when Brett tells him stories or sings songs, no matter how fussy he is this always calms him down. He loves to see himself in the mirror. He loves bath time. I need to wear a poncho because he drenches me with his kicking. He's a cat napper. 20-30 min tops. sigh I guess it's a trade off for sleeping through the night since he was a month and a half.

I need ideas

Ok, people..... I need some ideas. What's a girl to do with herself all day with a 3 month old? I can only sing silly songs for so long, and I'm getting tired of watching House Hunters International. Today we tried going for a run, but two minutes into it, it started raining on us, so we turned around and went home.

When we were in California my sister Taylor took some family pictures of us. I don't think there is anything that girl can't do! She's good at everything!

In other news, Jaron giggled for the first time yesterday. Not just a coo when smiling, an actual giggle! It made my day! He also rolled over yesterday. I thought it was a fluke, but he did it again today! He's getting big so fast!

Catch up

I know my blogging has been seriously lacking. But what can I say.... I'm new to this mommy thing. I'm still trying to figure out how to fit a shower into my days let alone blogging. But after being threatened with my life from one or more grandmas I guess I better try harder. So here are some pictures starting with the most recent.

Jaron is now 2 days shy of 3 months and weighs about 13 lbs. He is smiling and cooing a lot now and has an adorable dimple on is right cheek. He loves tummy time and bath time, but unfortunately is growing to dislike the car seat. And he sleeps through the night!

The Chair

Is now my feeding chair.

(just one of the few things in my life that has changed.) But one thing that hasn't changed is that I never get to sit in it by myself!
