We had a great Thanksgiving. So great and so busy I didn't take a single picture! loser! Brian, Shirley, Kevin, Jessica, Michelle, Nathan, Spencer, Parker, Ella, and Jack came. We did a lot of shopping, and lot of cooking! Since I don't have any pictures of Thanksgiving to post, I'll continue with our DC trip.
Our third day we rented a car in NY and drove down to DC stopping and spending the day in Philadelphia. We weren't able to get in a tour for Independence Hall, which was a big bummer, but it was still up there on my list of favorite places we saw. I was just in heaven in the midst of all that history! And a trip to Philly wouldn't be complete without trying a famous Philly Cheese steak. I wish I got a picture of the pure joy on Brett's face.

I've been waiting! How many more days do we get? What a fantastic trip! We'll miss you when we come to Oregon for Christmas.
I am SERIOUSLY so jealous of this trip - I WANNA DO IT!!!!!! How fun for you guys.. and I REALLY wish you would have gotten a picture of Brett with his philly cheesesteak too :) Kyle would have been drooling. When I ask him some times what he wants for dinner, that's what he says.. "um, ok honey, let me just whip that right up." oh brother.
What a cool trip! You did so much in so little time! You got some great shots too. Glad you had a great Thanksgiving. Hopefully we get some snow while you visit CA so that we can hang out again! Love ya!
