Camping Fun
I was a terrible picture taker this trip, luckily Emily was there to pick up the slack. We went camping at Big Lake with the Heads and Diane and McKenzie to celebrate the boys' birthday. We had a killer campsite right on the lake with our own little beach, and of course we had lots of great food!

Ahhhh Nature
We went backpacking this weekend to Jefferson Park (around Mt. Jefferson). It was a beautiful hike but it was pretty tough. While I'm out there I can't wait to be home, and when I'm home I can't wait to go again. I just need to get in shape!! And get charlie his own tent.

The Happiest and Busiest Place on Earth
Carson and I in line for the new Nemo ride. It was loooooong! And poor little Carson was tired, and I'm such a sucker for that face!
But I guess it was worth the wait. (Savannah and Carson on the Nemo ride). This is why I like to go to Disneyland now, to see the look on the kids' faces!
Tonya and Ashlee on Its a Small World.
While I was at Disneyland I got a call from Brett, who had flown home the night before. It seems there had been an incident. Brett had offered up our house for a scout sleepover while we were gone. Hence the story of the hole in the wall....
Brett got home to the AC pumping at 50 degrees and a hole in the wall. (Don't worry, there was a sweet little note).
I was so glad I was at Disneyland!!

Exciting Weekend
Who knew 3 days of golf could be so exciting.
The only other exciting thing that happened last weekend had to do with Charlie and my nose. . .
I was feeling a little ambitious Saturday morning and decided to do some yard work. Charlie was very excited to be outside with me and started running back and forth, back and forth across the yard. All of a sudden he changed his course and ran right in front of me. I was bending over reaching for a weed when WHACK! his incredibly hard head smashed into my nose. Instantly the tears started flowing for fear of blood and what I would look like with a swollen nose. I abandoned my bucket of weeds and burst into the house holding my nose and crying "Charlie broke my nose!". Brett was busy patching a hole in the wall (which is a whole different story) when I came blubbering in. He dropped his tools and ran, i mean ran, to the freezer to get some ice. Apparently he didn't like the thought of me with a bigger nose either. But no worries, there was no blood, and though it's still a little sore, no major damage.
