Brett's a Big Loser!
Brett joined a Biggest Loser Challenge two weeks ago. If you know Brett at all, you know he's very competitive. He's already down 18 lbs!! You can go here to see where he stands in the competition.
GO BRETT!

When my mom, Cori, and Dax came to visit a couple months ago I only took one picture to document all the fun we had.
I know, I'm lame.

Is there something wrong with him?
Is there really something warm and cuddly about Brett while he's working on plumbing?

Alone
Brett is traveling for "work" this week.

I've been lounging around with Charlie. With no one to cook for I don't eat very well. Last night I had tortillas dipped in Cafe Rio dressing, tonight I had a hard boiled egg and green cool-aid. Tonight will also include this:

Project
Months ago we got this crib from a family in our ward. It has taken me months to sand it. And just last weekend I finally painted it. So we took it upstairs to put it together. I had to get inside it to help hold it while Brett put the screws in. Then as I was trying to climb out, Charlie came and sat on me! And lucky for you Brett was quick with the camera. :)

Now we just need a baby to put in it.

I'm Back
I've taken a much needed rest. But now I'll fill you in on our holiday activities. We got out of the bad weather and went to California to see our families.
Man do I love that kid!!
Now please be warned... the next couple pictures are not pretty. You might want to ask any young children to leave the room.

You might wonder what in the heck I'm doing in that first picture. Believe it or not, I'm smiling.
I came down with bells palsy right before Christmas. MERRY CHRISTMAS! I had a terrible headache for a couple days then I lost all movement to the left side of my face. I was scared! I thought I had a stroke or something! But a wonderful man in my parents ward who is an ER doctor took time out of his Christmas eve to see me and tell me no... I wasn't dying. So it's been about 4 weeks now, and I'm slowly recovering. I got some great advice to go to an acupuncturist. Weird, and I'm not sure how it works.... but it does. You can see my progress above.
