Merry Christmas

I haven't been the greatest picture taker this week, but here are a few I snapped.
Here's Charlie and Derek's dog Nolan. Nolan is twice the size of Charlie but wouldn't get near him. Notice Charlie practically sitting on Cori's lap... yep, they're tight. I hate to say I told you so....

Charlie's favorite gift was the tissue paper!

Her first grandbaby. Charlie just loved my mom. He follows her around and gets all excited when he hears her voice. Who can blame him, she's awsome!

Charlie LOVES Taylor too.

Random

Brett loves to wrestle around with Charlie. And Charlie LOVES it. He loves his daddy!

Our kitchen is finally done. We replaced the big brass handles and hinges with these oil rubbed bronze ones. I love it! And also, here's Charlie demonstrating his sit stay. He's such a good boy!

Here's my other little boy. Every where we go, where there are games, he's begging for quarters. Restaurants, movie theaters..... Yes, I think he will get along well with the young men!

My Bad

Our ward split about a month ago, and obviously there were quite a few callings left vacant. So for the last several weeks, they called a bunch of people to fill in the gaps ... except the Young Mens, and every week we would comment on it when we got home... "Gol, when are they going to call a YM president??? What have they been doing?...." Well, turns out I had TWO messages from the Bishop on my cell phone (somehow my cell phone # got on the ward list). He'd been trying to get ahold of us for weeks! Yep, you guessed it... Brett's the new (embarrassed) Young Men's president. I think my cell phone priveledges are about to be revoked.

Happy Birthday to Me!

Sometimes it pays off being the only girl in the office. Today I got flowers and a pizza party from the guys as work.

The Quest for a Christmas Tree

Believe it or not, Charlie got up on the sled and sat down all by himself!
We had a blast out in the snow looking for a Christmas tree for Emily and Nyle's family. After finding the right tree Emily whips out hot chocolate for everyone. They sure know how to party!

More cute kids!!! Savannah and Carson.

This is Oregon's STATE Christmas tree, at Riverfront Park here in the state capitol. I can't believe that out of all the state workers there are in this town they couldn't find one to do a decent job of lighting the Christmas tree. Unacceptable! It looks like they just took the strands and just threw them at the tree and if they stayed it was good enough. We thought, "Oh how cool, there's going to be a tree lighting ceremony, how special!" Then it lit up and we thought "how embarrassing!"

Charlie graduated from puppy kindergarten!!!

Brett's happy place.

I know you're probably sick of gun pictures but I thought it was pretty funny when I pulled out the camera at Sportsmans Warehouse and said "Smile Honey!" while he was standing at the gun counter with all the rugged mountain men standing around. I just love to embarrass Brett, give a little of his own back!

Cori, this is for you

How could anyone be scared of this face???
Charlie cooperates for pictures better than Brett does! I wish "sit" and "stay" worked on husbands!
