I'm not crazy

I guess I left out the most important part of the puppy story.... we did NOT get another puppy! C'mon, don't you people know who wears the pants in this family? I'm not as big a sucker for tears as he is.

Crazy fool

While we were on our camo shopping trip, we came across a little black lab puppy for sale. After what we've been through with Charlie it wasn't much of a temptation for me. But Brett wanted it so bad he might have even shed a tear. He wanted Charlie to have a sister. And crazy me, I was thinking Charlie was going to get a brother or sister of another species. Heck, getting a puppy would have been a heck of a lot easier!

Shopping

I was really hurting for a shopping partner this weekend so I asked Brett to go shopping with me. To my surprise he said yes. I should have known better...

Camo clothes was NOT the shopping I had in mind!!!

Can anyone spy the Brett?

In other news... we have been officially accepted by LDS Family Services as adoptive parents! Spread the word.

The Joy of Being Homeowners

Our deck before

Our deck after.

Brett replaced the bad wood, and painted the whole thing. Just don't mind the benches, those are next.

And this is the deck after Charlie walked across the wet paint.
