We went to our favorite getaway spot last weekend... the Heads' house. Charlie had the time of his life being off the leash and having 5 acres to run free with his new best friend Toby. We went with them to get a christmas tree, Brett rode Nyle's 4 wheeler, and I finally had a shopping buddy! Two actually!
Did you know that putting a dog in a car seat and going for a drive has the same effect it has on kids?
This used to be the bottom of a lake, and those are tree stumps, hundreds, maybe thousands of them. They drained the lake between Salem and Sisters to get ready for all the new rain and snow that will fill it up again this winter. It's a wild sight!

YESS!! I was sooo excited to see my neice & nephews on your blog! THANK YOU SO MUCH. I opened it and was like "what blog am I looking at???" YEA. Heaven knows we don't see many pictures of them and they do look so grown up and cute. :) The dogs look like they had a blast.. But, why, my sweet Julia, did you have to chop your head out of the top picture? :) :) That bad huh?
